How to Join AIESEC Kenya NST…

A couple of people have been inquiring how they can be part of AIESEC Kenya National Support Team(NST) in the coming year….the good news is that AIESEC Kenya NST is a position that has a tenure of 6 months, so the next team will be assuming office in January 2013….Here is the process of joining AIESEC Kenya NST:-

• By application. Once AIESEC Kenya decides what roles needs to be filled in AIESEC Kenya, they open applications where prospective candidates can apply and get reviewed. Most calls for applications are publicized on social networks such as the AIESEC Kenya facebook page.
• By appointment, this happens once in a while when there is an urgent role that needs to be filled and the AIESEC Kenya MC VP responsible has identified a suitable candidate. The suitable candidate is thereby introduced to the NST Chair and is made part of the team.

That having been said, I hope as many of you as possible will be looking forward to be part of this amazing team….important:-

• For some role/job descriptions you do not have to be physically in Kenya or Nairobi in order to be part of the NST.(so you can still do it virtually.

The last new member of the NST 2012 Team…

Ladies and gentle men….allow me to introduce to you…..drumrolls…….

 

She is one of a kind, and she just had to be in the OutGoing eXchange team…and like it’s stated above…she was a ‘regional citizen’ even before the rest of East Africa came up with the ‘I am a regional citizen’ initiative.

We are so proud you joined us Marion and we hope time will not limit you from making it happen….I now give you power to be #uNSToppable,  this is because you are now part of the #uNSToppable team!!!

Marion is the NST in charge of Outgoing Global Internship Program (oGIP).  She also doubles up as the LC VP OGX at AIESEC JKUAT. Now this is what we call living multiple experiences. (And that is what AIESEC 2015 is about….realizing ONE MILLION EXPERIENCES, its NOT about one million individuals…so YES AIESEC 2015 is very possible if more AIESECers become like Marion) .

And I also heard from someone who had heard from someone that someone had heard that the she(Marion) intends to do an internship in Serbia soon…. now that is what we call being a true AIESECer…..
